Aston Martin reverse engineering

The CNC WEST December 2006/January 2007 issue contains a picture of a man using a Perceptron 3D laser scanning attachment on the articulating arm of a Romer Infinite Portable CMM. He is taking measurements to reverse engineer an Aston-Martin. The company defines one of their businesses as a reverse engineering job shop. This company appears to mostly employ skilled workers.
