Fanuc Robotics introduces new line: Fanuc Robotics America, Inc., has introduced its new LR Mate 200iC robot, the company's next generation mini-robot, which Fanuc says offers maximum performance in a light, efficient, accurate and nimble package. The robot features built-in vision. It will be demonstrated this week at the Automation Technology Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. Fanuc says the new robot is significantly lighter and more compact than its predecessor. It's intended for high-speed part handling, machine tending, assembly and material removal.
